Tampa host Carolina
This week the Bucs can clinch the south with a home win over Carolina, however this won't be a straightforward easy task as the bucs have looked sluggish and imperfect this season but the Panthers have played with grit determination and heart under interim HC steve Wilks.
Steve Wilks has got the run game going in his stint despite trading CMC to San Fran , this doesn't help TB since there is a fair chance DT Vita Vea is out and if you look at Carolina's run game last week in Detroit , it would frighten you Foreman and Hubbard were both well over 100 yards... EACH bringing Carolina to almost 300 yards on the ground.
Carolina looked good defensively against the run , and that won't do TB any favors with their already struggling run game, however Carolina looked weak against the pass and one can imagine, if Tampa want to cause noise in the post season , they need to figure the offence out and what better time than now in this huge matchup.
Checking up on our bucs , they looked almost terrible on offence in AZ with only 1 touchdown all game , TB12 again looked sluggish but they got the job done in OT. One positive to take from the game was how well the defence played , not only did they get the ball in OT but they only allowed 16 points and forced 2 turnovers , Keanu Neal INT and Devin White fumble recovery.
There was one more positive in my opinion , which is Ryan Succop who had 4 attempts and made all which ultimately saw Tb win in OT,
my prediction for this week is a 17-10 win for TB and they clinch the South.
